Gene, I am inclined to believe Bloomberg in this case. They also show 35mm shares sold short for January.

When the June numbers were reported, remember that the actual number reported was 9mm and change. This would be for trades through settlement on the 15th of June, or as of trade date of 12 June, prior to the split. Seems to me that the 38mm number should then be correct.

Thus far we've got 2 sources that say 38mm (Yahoo and Bloomberg) and 1 that says 9mm (ViWes).
