Just Heard on Bloomberg that 47 companies have preannounced an earnings shortfall over the last 2 days, including American Financial Group. Slower earnings growth already seems to be priced in. That is what the decline into Apri/May was all about. But a recession isn't priced in, I think. That's the tricky part here: knowing what the market has already priced in prior to hearing the story and what it has not already priced in.
