EDIT -I agree about rejecting the offer - it will be interesting to see where this trades EDIT: 99,900 bid and offered at $6.80.

Going back to the offering. We have to assume there was a 'Chinese Wall' surrounding talks between management and Nesbitts re this offer - while at the same time there was a pp in registration? Or do we assume there was a nod and a wink given to those institutions who just picked up 2 million shares at $4.50 and a tacit understanding that thse 2 million shares would also be delivered to Barrick.

This doesn't on the face of it make sense.

$6.85/$6.90 - 348,000 shares have traded at $6.85. One can only hope there was a Chinese Wall and the pp investors are pissed off too and will reject this offer.

The offer is conditional on 66 2/3 acceptance? Let's say they get in, but barely. I don't think the parties can force a 'squeeze out' without 90% of the stock - so do the shares of the minority trade still. So, tactically, is it better to fold or to hold? Claude/others - what's your view? This is the sort of thing that these formums should be for.
