testing, testing, testing

I can't post any new messages, let's see if I can edit this one.

OK. Edit works. I've been trying to post a couple of responses since 5:30 this morning. This is the only one I've been able to post. What a mess. Watching them try and straighten this out this morning has been interesting. My edit time is running out. Hopefully we'll all be merrily posting soon. In the meantime, today's Miami Herald has a couple of interesting recap articles.

testing.

edit. Funny. I've been able to post two messages, now. Unfortunately, the only thing I can say is "testing."

edit. So far so good. Let me try to send you the whole message.

I will give you a [virtual] gold medal if you guess the meaning of 10 of those names. (*)

Well, I knew there was something wrong when Jimmy Carter's name wasn't on the list. I think it's a violation of international law to hold an election and not invite Jimmy. But I didn't figure it for a joke. Does speed count in your challenge? I plan to put it aside until I'm in the mood for a brain teaser.

P.S. I wrote this response at 5:30 this morning. Wonder how long it will be before SI accepts the post. Hmmmmm

edit. Yeah!

P.S. Tazio, I received and responded to your PM.
