Don't see how TMR is going to satisfy Shell without hurting shareholders. Shell is unquestionably entitled to a major chunk of change in some fashion from TMR. Can't see them letting that go when TMR is in a period of high cash flow and commodity prices are so high. Perhaps they will take title to production as payment? That's a bit better for shareholders but will still be painful.

TMR management can't fairly be held responsible for the Shell issue as no one can predict the future. The deal was very fair at the time. TMR management was smart enough to not renew hedges.
