For herbalslim: HP using classic 1 GHz, not Tbird.

At least that's what their specs say currently-- perhaps they'll switch it over at some point... but wouldn't that require a new mobo? Just how many classic 1 GHz parts are there anyhow? Enough to launch a new HP line, and fill in at Gateway for a bit, apparently.

HP specs: hp-at-home.com

(note 512 Kb L2 cache = classic, not tbird)

However, given the wording of the Gateway email, and the response from amdzone, I suspect it is more about Gateway's motherboard than the 1 GHz Tbird itself.

<I-Watch
from herbalslim on Clearstation>

I find that I-watch is pretty darned good. It may take a little bit of effort to figure it out. Once you do it is pretty useful in understanding what may be going on.

The conclusion is very clear: on any given day, the data is corrupted to an unknown degree, rendering it USELESS to gauge anything other than the naivete
of the uninformed investing public (this is where ajbrenner comes in - no offense aj!). It also proves that Ted is an astute observer, as he stated that he has
removed it from his site list.

Herb (and Tim)

Thanks for your response about I-watch....your comments and understanding of how the I-watch system works support my own findings and the comments I have heard from others.

Oh yeah, I also like the part about me being "an astute observer". LOL
