Thread: The March 2000 issue of Red Herring, which had an extensive set of articles on storage, included this at the end of their write-up on Legato Systems:

Partners include Fujitsu, Siemens, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq Computer, Informix, Oracle, EMC, and Sun Microsystems. Customers include Yahoo, Unilever, British Petroleum, Microsoft, TRW, and Rockwell. Competes with IBM and Veritas Software.

Clearly, Veritas has been the winner over the past several months, but if LGTO has maintained the listed relationships, the future could still be quite positive. So, my questions are: Does anyone know the details of any of the above partnerships, especially the one with EMC? Are Yahoo and Microsoft still customers? Any pertinent information on such issues would be much appreciated.

P.S. Since I'm new to this thread, I should disclose that I have never had any position on LGTO but am very intrigued by the current low valuation.
