INTCFan: re VIGN and any other like it:

What could we expect otherwise?

I also have some VIGN ...

I'm starting to feel that perhaps THE most important signal we as retail investors can find on which to base our own investing decisions is the motivation of the founder.

Being here in Austin, from what I gather these VIGN people are MOTIVATED. And not, for unique success-oriented personal goals, I suppose, (similar to M. Dell building DELL from nothing a decade ago) in strictly for the 'fly-by-night' cash-in.

There is another company based here who's founder I personally knew thru career-only who I'm convinced is in for the 'quick buck.' And that one shall go unnamed by me, anyway. I wouldn't touch that stock 'with a ten-foot-pole.'

Frankly, if were any of these people, I would have been solely motivated to create a company and get the damned thing sold as soon as I could make 'just a few million' <g>.

i.e.: I doubt seriously that Dr. Koop gives a flying "flip" <g> ... I use that as a local Austin example.

I hope none of this gets me sued <g> ... just stating my opinions.

I own DELL long; and VIGN few months; own no KOOP and never have; own none of the unnamed other Austin-based company to which I so intentionally vaguely refer above.
