Thread-- part of the SI problem relates to html tags and quotation marks in th"e subject (the first n characters that are displayed in the thread summary page). Including html or quotes after the subject-- ""-- is fine.

The subject line ends at the first quote in my message. If I include an html tag or the quotation symbol in the subject part, I get the "Error writing to database" message.
