Lindybill is kind enough to post his trades and what he has learned from him. Grow up, and hopefully when you do someday you can pick up some class along the way too. I'm sure you'll be on MANY ignores after your senseless post, including mine. BTW, best of luck on your Excel, which does not even warrant a mention on this quality thread.

Smoking some bad weed tonight?

Given the stocks your profile indicates you are investing in, it would seem that your choices, at least on that score, were not far from those on this thread, however it is that you arrived by your picks.

You do seem to have missed out on the civility which we value here, and one wonders, given such rhetoric, whether the similarily in stock picks might have come from some other basis than the one that drives this thread. Certainly, we have had the experience of those who seemed to thin the G&K thread was the latest hot tip sheet and then been upset because they lost money in the short term, forgetting that G&K is instrinsically an LTB&H stategy.

If you want to ask LindyBill a tough question, ask why he is letting go of QCOM. Russian army is a reasonable strategy, but it sometimes runs counter to the G&K fundementals. If I were to want to put LindyBill on the spot, which I would never wish to do to such a gracious gentlemen, I would ask him to explain why it was that he felt that QCOM was no longer a gorilla, since that was the only possible justification for dumping it.

That was quite a rant, SBX, and very understandable on a day when our pet Gorilla closed at 1/3 of of its year beginning price. I have a lot of empathy for anyone who jumped on the Qualcomm bandwagon in Y2K, but while I understand your anger, I think it's misdirected when you attack this community. We never advised you how to manage your personal assets. We simply discussed how we were managing ours while you eavesdropped and apparently attempted to use that information to your advantage. You paid no fee for that priviledge, and made no contributions to our collective efforts in return.

All the same, I'm sorry that you feel misled by our discussions, and sincerely hope that your new approach to investing will be rewarding.

Regards,
uf

Take it easy. You are blaming a investment forum for your own poor decisions.A lot of people got caught up Including myself in the Jan to march euphoria and bought good companies at obseen levels.I have about 80% qcom n my portfolio and looking back should have sold some in Dec/Jan but I instead have bought more and more.Use this forum and others for your own benefit and invest accordingly as per your own comfort level and beliefs.

Learn how to benefit from bull runs and how to protect yourself when markets get to extremes. No stock is immune to the general economic conditions and market direction. Many posters have great knowlege of various areas and you can tap into that knowledge by reading these posts. However you still have to think for yourself and don't fall into a trap of being lazy and using other people views to make buy and sell decisions.

Last year was an anamoly and will not be repeated. Many people had monster returns and believed themselves to be invincible and great investors.I suspect we are back to traditional investing and growth and earnings will be the underlying basis of returns.

Bad language and blaming others is not going to change your fortunes in the market.

SXB, we are all responsible for our own investment decisions. Did you make some bad ones? Are you blaming others?

If you don't agree with our approach, then don't monitor this thread, please.

Please don't trash this thread with your anger. It benefits no one. And get some help.
