I have to admit that I lowered my expectations as the day progressed, but in the end decided to hold on for a little while longer. I think the market has regained a degree of resilience that was clearly lacking during the correction.

Qualcomm was the best investing idea I've ever had, and the returns from it afforded me personal choices that I had never expected. Thanks to Mr. Roth's fine book and some fortunate allocation decisions I made at the end of 1999 and the beginning of 2000, I still have those choices.

My options trading is an income generating exercise. If I obtain wealth, it will come from holding investments in companies like Qualcomm.
