JDN. I agree with you on a 4 day weekend for the markets. It could be a pretty interesting Monday, to say the least. WS will probably be empty and low volume could move stocks drastically in any direction.

I can't complain either about Friday. There were huge huge buying orders to be executed at the close. Stocks could have moved quite a bit higher or lower but the MM's announced the buy orders way ahead of time and matched buyers and sellers pretty well. I guess that's the right thing to do. You don't want a big volatility at the end of trading. But some stocks moved big one way or another.<p>
Glad to see a long weekend even if it is interrupted by half a day trading. Takes away from what we are celebrating on the 4th of July. Maybe we should fight for independence from analysts one day. gg.

Maybe Intel will have a nice move ahead with a split and earnings coming.
