This has been a major project and has been underway for some time. There have been site performance issues associated with this rollout, and we appreciate your patience throughout the upgrade process. The SI team views any interruption in full service as unacceptable and is dedicated to ensuring that SI provides the level of performance and reliability that you expect and deserve. While the database upgrade is now complete, we will continue to monitor the site very closely to help ensure that our upgraded system continues to improve the performance of the site. We are confident that you will see an improvement in the performance and reliability of the site due to the database upgrade. We will also be taking steps to ensure that performance issues similar to those associated with the database rollout do not occur again during any future upgrades. We appreciate the helpful input received from the community during the upgrade process, particularly in identifying and addressing specific areas of concern. Thanks again for your continued support of Silicon Investor and please feel free to contact us with your comments, John Busby Product Manager Silicon Investor Rome is on fire and they are talking about "performance" issues. Bet they are all off for the long weekend. Funny, when customers hire me to upgrade systems they insist it be done over, say, a long weekend. SI is a joke and I wish to hell we could all just move somewhere else where the monthly revenue stream would be welcomed. --Allan
