Now THAT dream I can figure out!!

I have lost two posts that I spent a great deal of time on, and I am very angry right now with SI. There is no excuse for this severe a problem lasting for such a long time..

Dan has been at work all night and is still not home. They were transferring software systems and he wanted to be there as the new one loaded and check for glitches. It's a pretty big deal as they are a pretty big company and rely on the smooth transition of their res system. He came home for an hour for dinner, and I mentioned SI's problems. It ruined his appetite. I don't think I'll tell him that it's still as bad as ever.

However, perhaps it will be a godsend. I, for one, am giving up and going to do something else. If it stays this bad for long, habits will be broken, and people may decide that they waste too much time here, they will reintroduce themselves to spouses and kids, take up running, do some charity work, and save the world.
Soon there will be no one here.
SI will die, and no one will care.
ANd then the Dwyers can start all over again, and give us back the old SI where life was good.

I have woken up from dreams laughing, too, but not often. Frequently I dream the most incredible dreams all night long, but usually the only way I save them is when I wake up to drink water or go to the bathroom, and when I am drifting back off to sleep, coach myself through saving the dream. Sometimes my dreams are so funny I crack myself up.:)

Sometimes I don't dream at all, I obsess on something that happened during the day. I hate it when that happens.

Your two dreams sound like something in between.

Sorry you feel bad about being the "bad guy" to those you are fighting. I wish I could think of a tactful way to say "get used to it." Maybe the greatest leaders know a way to thwart others without earning their hatred, but I can't think of any. Even Mother Teresa had her detractors.

Maybe the best way to handle it is not to let it get personal. The people across the road will be your neighbors for a long time, it must be hard to do what you're doing knowing that they will probably never get over it. Probably the most tactful way to handle it would be to act like they must not realize how dangerous what they are doing is, and sympathize with them for being misled, if you could pull that off.
