Thanks for thtat very informative repnse.

Didn't Dr J himself say that WCDMA will not have the same capabilitites and will not be as efficien as MCCDMA. I believe he was very clear about this during the Unicom squabble. Also is it not true that WCDMA will require a huge amount of antenaes/base stations thus making it more expensive to build out.
Legal battles are in regard to Q's expected road block until it gets it's slice of the pie for it's essential IP which at this time the major players are refusing to recognize.
Was unaware that cdma2000 was not standerdized. Actually it's a bit of a shock.

Your post has been the first I have read to be at all WCDMA positive, I guess I was jaded from reading every Post being negative WCDMA as being inferior, less efficient, more expensive. Would love to dissect WCDMA further.
