<OT> Interesting how "bubbe" is used in different dialects. I have never been to Hamburg or heard much Plattdeutsch, but in the southern dialects bubbe is an affectionate or familiar term for young boys. But on topic, German culture seems to ascribe roles to citizens at a younger age, and those who were happy in their role often lived long and happy. For example, they know in about 4th grade whether they will prepare to go to a university or the job-training schools track. But I hope religious professionals generally are not expending much energy worrying about "getting ahead, more" or they'd being doing something else. Happy 4th
