A foul wind has passed through these hallowed grounds. Modern science will have some explaining to do, but the wind appears to have a color! The color greene! Evolutionary biologists for decades have debated whether slime molds have the Darwininan sophistication to actually infiltrate and take over physical nanospaces (including hard drives) previously "owned" by homo sapiens, so this observation will be of great interest in Cambridge and Pasadena.

I'm a big fan of Gary Wendt

Me, too. He and Ratzenberger were quite a team.

and also believe it is poor form to sell what you do not own.

Well then, you really don't have any business on this thread, do you?

It showed a huge volume spike in posting activity by CNC shorters.

In that case I have a bug report: Softechie is not, to my knowledge, a short. If SI hadn't gone kerplooie he'd still be babbling non-stop nonsense to himself on CNC thread.
