I doubt it. But whatever it is, it is so humilating that Intel wouldn't want to make that public. There is nothing to be gained by
emphaisizing how far behind the company is.


Yes I don't see the benifit to Intel to hold a press conference and say "hey everyone AMD is only out produceing us 4 to 1 on 1ghz chips", or even 2 to one. If AMD is produceing more 1ghz chips then Intel (and it seems like they probably are), I don't think Intel would care to address the issue no matter how small the difference.
