RTS,

Nigel recently started one on that subject. Some of the ususal suspects post there once in a while.

Subject 34665

It seems the only point of commonality with regard to small molecules might be their markets. My understanding is that small molecules are required to get by the blood-brain barrier, so I would expect some of those common markets to be folks with CNS problems, for example. Per Peter's ruminations, and the ensuing response, I won't bother with a SM thread now (besides this is family portal!). Perhaps the best way to categorize biotech discussion threads -- or those of any industries -- is by their markets, rather than how their products work. Oncology companies, metabolic disease companies, etc., as thread titles, and start the discussion from there. Or maybe right down to the indication: breast cancer, diabetes, Alzheimers, etc. That might be apropos for the more widespread diseases, anyhow.

What do y'all think of that?

Cheers, Tuck
