Good Evening, Nancy. Good Evening Everyone. Shalom!

"I did not think we were discussing Jews but believers and non believers. The future of the Jews is up to God" Nancy

Your comment describes exactly the point of the discussion. Belief and non-belief. The Jews fit right into the category of non-believers. You also mentioned that you are now aware of anti-semimism since the incident with the person gone bezerk.

Their are literally dozens of preturist doctrines by Jesus, the Apostles and by John in Revelation. They never said the second coming of our Lord would be thousands of years away but constantly talked about His soon appearing in their lifetime. Even Jesus told them that the time was near for Judgement against Jerusalem and Herod's Temple. I have read many opinions and documented proof from Josephus that the Second Coming did in fact occur. It was within time limits that Jesus predicted when the Romans under Ceasar destroyed the Temple and went to great length to tear it down, stone by stone and brick by brick, leaving only one wall and a tower so that in future times it would show just how factually the event did occur.

Many also try to say that this was not the time because Revelation was not written until a later date of the destruction of Jerusalem. It is so obvious that when John wrote Revelation that the war had not yet begun because John made mention of the Temple and it was still standing or he would have talked about the terrible destruction that supposedly had occured already. John even mentions the Temple in Revelation as if nothin was wrong at that time.

Just how do the Christians justify that this did not happen? How do they skip the testimony of Jesus and the Apostles about an event that all were saying would happen during their generation? There is only one verse that some try to use to put against the foregone conclusion of the Apocalypse happening in 78AD. They use the verse about that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years.

Revelation 1:7
"7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

At the time of this writing this event was still future."

Those that cannot find the Parousia, the destruction of Jerusalem,, the judgement of Israel, and the end of the age,
must be pretty blind or not anxious to read the many references throughout the Bible about the Apocalypse.

I am forced to come to the conclusion that the whole group of predictions are referring to the same period and the same event; that the whole prophesy can not be divided, being upon the same foundation of Divine authority. I can only come to the conclusion that either the whole group of predictions, foretelling the destruction of Jerusalem, the coming of the Lord, the redempyion of the dead, and the rewards to the faithful did take place before the passing of that generation as predicted by Christ, taught by the Apostles, and expected by the whole Church.

Will you tell me that the hope of the church was a delusion. Will you tell me that the teachings of the Apostles was in error? Will you tell me that the predictions of Jesus was only a dream at best?

We cannot tear the prophesies of Christ apart concerning the Parousia and say this is past and that is future.

I am compelled to believe that the Parousia did take place according to our Savior's predictions, and the period when Jerusalem was destroyed, and before the passing away of that generation.

It has no negative effects upon me to believe in Preturism as I know that Heaven awaits every Christian, regardless of their mis-comprehensions, IF THEY BELIEVE IN THE DEATH, RESURRECTION, and ASCENSION of Jesus the Christ to Heaven.

I assume that when you married into the Jewish race, that Alan and his relatives in Israel taught you that God will show favor to them abd they will have a literal Temple of Jerusalem with Christ and the Apostles residing there. As a Messianic Christian, do you have to follow the priests at the Synagoues and do they tell you these things and are you still commanded to be kosher, and to do no work over the Sabbath. Can you even eat a piece of grain or cook food. Who answers the telephone on Sabbath? Is that not work. Do they have those out side the faith run the hospitals, ambulances, and flights that come and go?
Or do you actually refuse to answer the phone? If you are having a stroke do you just let the person lie there until the sun goes down?
Maybe this is why you come against me on so may differences in worshipping Christ? I am sad if it does. You are a wonderful person and we both should agree to discuss these things without animousity or to drop them all together so that we may be covil and loving toward one another.

May your love of Christ greatly protect you from creeds made by man.

Good Night sweet lady.

James
