"LIFE is SWEET" moment for me today. I stopped at this 70+ year old restaurant today in a small town on the way home and these women, ages 35-80 were all sitting around a table enjoying PIE. THe good pie..homemade..10 types to choose from. Anyway all the employees came out carrying a piece of banana creme with a lit candle on top. They circled this 80 year old woman and everyone in the entire place sang happy birthday to her. As I looked on with my boys I was fighting back the tears that came over me as I witnessed her in all her joy. She was so happy and I could tell she really felt loved. It was one of those moments that you can't plan..can't anticipate...can't fight. Pure happiness, if just for a moment. I'll never forget it. I recommend seizing these opportunities when they present themselves..just for that moment I was there with her. I owe her for allowing me to share it
