The handheld market continues to embrace SanDisk's MultiMediaCard. casio.com SanDisk has the ability to lead OEM's directly to MMC because of the relationships that were build during the introduction of CompactFlash as a defacto standard. As the electronics device manufacturers transition to smaller form factors such as MMC the number of manufacturers/competitors thins out considerably. MMC fabrication is an engineering challenge.
