PGD - Well I wanted Barrick shares for my Pangea shares - tax free rollover - but this offer was structured without a thought for the retail investors. Therefore I hope it fails and that they have to sweeten the pot, and offer Barrick paper instead of cash or as an alternative.

I wouldn't even bet them little green apples you speak of that ABX will only hedge pangea reserves also. That simply ain't what the market was telling us on Friday!

Failure of a total breakdown of price (in fact a weak closing rally of sorts) says the rumor I heard about ABX unwinding a part of their position was more correct.
