Rude-- Lane is only known by his rep. Have held ORCL since before he arrived. I have seen the results of his 7K person army and am impressed. I could care less if he is charismatic or not,, he can hire a band and a comedian for that. How about having some balls that only Greene seems to have at cpq? I'd rather have a "nuts and bolts" guy running it than a rock singer,, <<"Capellas is just right to restore CPQ "Culture" and values after the disasters of the Pfeiffer - Mason debacle and the Digital acquisition. He has made a huge difference in attitude within the company, but he needs a strong execution-focused guy to make his ideas happen.">> that is a huge job that needs the support of the CEO but a different type of leadership than what is there now IMO. You may see which of us is correct but as I'll only be holding a small amount if any after the first of the year I will never know or care. I feel certain no one could accomplish that in 5 months and only the ground work has been laid over the past year+.
