Is it REALLY that offensive to some that other people besides Brinker make a living from investing and investment advice?

Why are YOU so upset by it? Have you ever thought to take the time to send me a private email explaining that you thought I was using personal examples too often in my writing here? I like to talk in the first person and write from my own experience. This means I say "I did this" or "I did that" and here is the proof.

I've had many positive private messages on my style asking me to keep posting. Strange how the bashing of Kirk is done in public and the support is more done in private. I wonder why that is?

There was never any rule saying I was not to talk about my website and I was originally encouraged to do it and told by Justa that it was OK in this thread so I did it.

I got the newsletter gig (working originally for Jim Jorgensen) partly as a result of my writing here on SI. Why should I not share that success with the groups on SI that I once considered as my friends? Did I ever ONCE post here asking anyone to subscribe or tell people how to do it?

Answer to your question. I take time to compose my thoughts to post them. I do not want to give someone else the ability to purge my comments just because they don't like them, hence I don't post on moderated threads. My comments and posts HAVE been eliminated here (when I posted the publicly known "7 steps to critical mass" for an example) without my permission but it was much more work than just hitting a delete button.
