Drbes, Do the words 'Eat them for lunch' mean anything?
looks like the end of the road for the celeron. Soon all it will be fit for is to house a full fledged P-III called a celeron alpha or some such name to indicate it is a better Celeron in order to keep their low end share alive, and even that will not work as the Duron even beats the P-III and all it will take is a little bit more cache to even beat the Xeons, say 512K? 1M 2M ...I dunno how far that can go as that will make a big die at 2M, but at .13 that is doable in the 128K die size, and then the last bastion will be surrounded and then stormed....will they fall on their swords or exit via massive eatage of crow, I would not like to be a crow around Intel....no, make that intel, nothing to crow about, just time to eat crow.

It also looks like this great situation will persist for a while, at least until we pass the critical fall and winter build phases. All parts are pretty much put to bedd for the fall builds and to quite a high degree for the winter builds, due to parts shortages.

So Intel will have a long hot summer as well as a chilly fall followed by cruel and hard winter.
