* Sorry, we cannot find the information you're looking for.

SI Admin- Here's another new one above. This is the response I get when trying to post a PM. Upstream I sent you the one I get when I try to post to the public boards.

Status reports are important. How would you feel if you sat at an airport gate for an extra 5 hours or so and didn't receive one status report? At least an acknowledgment on the home page that you regret the problems SI is having.

And maybe an, "I'm sorry," concerning all the lost messages that seem to be peppered throughout SI. I sense a lot of frustration with poster's messages being vaporized. I'm losing so many, I back them up before hitting the, now critical, "submit," button. -MikeM(From Florida)

Bob,

When Classic SI interface is used, the "Avg Volume" has been incorrect for long time. For example, in SI: StockTalk: Communications : BROADCOM (BRCM)

( http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=1398502 ), the "Avg Volume" is reported as "900".
And everyone who trades this stock konw this is wrong info.

Please have your DBA fix the problem.

What kind of database is being used in SI anyway: MS SQL Server or Oracle?

Thanks!

My point is that status reports don't fix them

Bob, I agree you don't want to bug programmers about statuses. Status meetings are even worse. But you must have a process down to communicate status of bugs to testers. Some non-programmer should be in charge of outstanding bugs and the programmers communicates to that person and only that person. NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO BUG THE PROGRAMMERS.

Otherwise, the same bugs are reported over and over. One bug creates others, etc. Basically chaotic and unproductive.

Why are some posts still filled with
and
and others are not?
