The shorts probably view the run-up after the Wendt announcement as a suckers rally. True, just appointing Wendt as CEO doesn't turn around CNC, but the man has obvious leadership skills and I expect him to act quickly to set things in motion. I think CNC's turnaround will take about 12 months to be substantially underway, about 2-3 years to be total. Eventually, I expect Wendt to turn CNC into another powerhouse, just like he did with GE Capitol.

I am long, both shares and a synthetic long position I took just before the Wendt announcement. I'm looking for CNC to return to the mid-teens short term, and $30 by the end of next year.
