Karen, if Clinton truly wanted the boy and his father to stay in the United States, he sure did everything in his power to ensure it would never happen.

How many Cuban agents do you think watched over them day and night at the compound set-up by Clinton and his team? It seemed as if the only thing you needed to talk to JM was a "Member of the Cuban communist party I.D card."

How difficult would it have been to arrange a meeting between his father and the Miami relatives?

The boy should have been allowed to say goodbye to his extended family. Jeez, they weren't Hitler's team or something. The hostility poured forth by people on this thread toward the boys relatives is truly disturbing. Shows the power of the media in a day dominated by 4.7 second sound bites.

No one here truly knows what was in the heart and mind of the relatives. They've never spoken to them.

I feel more confident giving the benefit of the doubt to an average American family caught in the grips of a very unusual event. Then a bunch of experienced politicians and communists who are practiced liars.
