(1) Do you think 3Com will buy back COMSv post 11 July.. or will they invest in COMS and get some PALM as an investment opportunity?

(2) Curious about what data you have been looking at that shows institution buying of COMS .. is it Thompsons I watch?

(3) I still did not see you comment on the probability that institutions want to own COMS post distribution. I am just a bit afraid that many people (retail and institutional investors) will unload COMSv (July 11-27) and COMS (post July 27). Too much supply can only drag down the price.

(4) My real dilema is should I re-invest in COMSv (between July 11-27) or wait to look at what happens after the shakeout. Since Schwab is quoting COMSv at 10 1/8, it looks like a steal given the book value ( $8.74 = (cash + sti)/(351,419 shares)), and current asset value ( $15.44 = (cur assets)/(351,419 shares)). I have to beleive that the potential to appreciate to the $15-$25 per share level for COMS over the next year is real. As bad as management is, you have a terrific 'brand name' and investors usually have a short memory. A single 'good quarter' for COMS could easily push the stock to $20. What I see is a potential 50% to 100% return in the near term (1 year). I really wonder if PALM will do that well ( $66.75 = $33.375 * 2) over the same period of time... particularly since I think there will be a sell of right after distribution.

(5) Thanks for the patience... I usually invest based on a long term (5 year) basis ... but this unique opportunity is just too compelling. I just dont want to get too greedy ... that is the kiss of death.

Thanks for the comments... all others who read this .. please comment as well.
