And imagine my poor husband having to walk several miles in deep snow, and arriving there to find everything calm and having to walk back. It was about five miles each way, and the snow was very deep. This makes a very interesting point, which is that most of these strange incidents are often harder on "other people" than they are on the instigators... At least that has been my own experience over the years.
