It is gonna be alright Rosie....You see that takes care of the birds....Remember Crdesign had one die on him....don'tcha remember? And death comes in 3's so with crdesign's one and your two....That takes care of the birds.

But you are right Death is strange and I don't ever want to indulge however we have to realize that dying is a part of living, because we can't die unless we have lived first and everybody is gonna have to do it. I certainly don't wanta but I gonna.

I am very sorry to hear of you loss. If you need me at a time like this I will be on the first plane out if there is anything I can do to help the situation. First Rosa i gotta go to bed and get some rest....but I promise to check my pms the first thing when I get up......

Goodnite Rosa!
love,
dealie

Hello, Rose, as I read your two tender sharings about your recent experience with little birds, I was struck by the fact that the Creator who made them also made sure they did not die alone for they were placed in your unique and loving energy orbit to transition to another energy level. Please don't look at this as a failure to help them thrive, but as a need they had to connect with another living creature before their crossover. You must be a special lady indeed.

I am envious you are able to grow lillies. We received a wonderful potted plant of lillies upon the passing of my beloved Mother-in-law, and I was NOT successful in keeping them going. The world needs more green and loving hands like yours, it is obvious to me.

Thanks for the gracing you bring to this thread in particular.

Rosie the Bird Lady, I think I know what happened.

True story:

I've been putting off the chore of repairing a section of my roof eve for sometime now.
Every Spring, for the past 3 years I put it on my list of things to fix.
However, every year a pair of Starlings make a nest in that opening that overhangs my house.
I can't close it up because they would lose the home they worked so hard to build. I figure, what's the rush anyhow...
They aren't harming anything.
I'll get to it next year.

Here is where it ties in with your bird story...

After we got home today from our mini vacation in the mountains, my wife asked my 4 year old to put a small suitcase up in the attic.
My son climbed back down from the pulldown staircase and explained that he saw a bird in the attic.
We thought that it was just his imagination.

When my wife went up there, she saw two baby starlings, attempting to learn to fly. The mother was watching closely from the corner of the attic.
I assume it was a good safe spot to learn to fly before the initial plunge from my roof eve.

The funny thing is that we stopped hearing the baby birds chirping for a week or so. We thought they didn't make it...

Anyhow, maybe yours were tranported to my attic...

I'll name one of them "Rosie".

Perhaps I'll fix the roof eve this fall, when they are gone...

-Clappy

...gotta get back to the boiling kettle of clams and shrimp...
Happy 4th everyone!
