earnings? our companies are supposed to have earnings? sheesh, you're picky. Next thing you're gonna tell me that the price is supposed to bear some relation to the earnings. Then I suppose you'll start talking about Crown Cork & Seal or some such....

Frank and tekboy,

I think both of you are missing the point about Ausdauer's original statement. I wouldn't want to put words into his keyboard, but I take his comment literally because it makes so much sense.

When tekboy asks, Wasn't it one of the key characteristics of gorilladom ... and Frank responds that he is "absolutely right, in the long term, I say "Holy Fourth of July! SanDisk ain't a gorilla yet but these guys act as if it is!" Because SanDisk is not yet a proven gorilla, Ausdauer's words should be especially well noted exactly as he wrote them.
