No need to feel sorry for me. I’ll just learn to day-trade like CUF and make a fortune. As soon as he starts his quick trades thread, I’m in.

Naw, I got hit like everyone else. I’ve never lost $250,000 or so before, but that is sort of what it looks like when you look at my Quicken graphs. It’s a learning experience. Fortunately, I’m in better shape than I was in mid-November. Still, I’ve lost some friends and family in recent years, and this is just money. I really don’t lose a lot of sleep.

I’ve learned much about the financial numbers just paying attention to the astute investors like Mike Buckley (curmudgeon thread right? Make that the dumb luck Buckley) and I’d like to be able to do my own assessment of various stocks. Anyway, my summer is free, so I have the time to devote to it.

I see you are still “tekboy” over there. Every combo of “Jay” that I’d care to use is gone, so I’m “woodhacker.” It is appropriate. Haven’t posted there yet and probably won’t ‘till the groups are organized.
