John,

As an equipment freak I can advise you to tell her WHATEVER is required to make that purchase. lol.

Now this flag tournament is a very cool idea. I had not heard of this before, but really like it. It has the same kind of bravado as say the long drive or closest to the pin marker. Now the question is do you just get a white flag with your name on it, or can you use your family crest?(My family crest is a bunch of dudes jumping from one ship to the next, stealing the cargo and sinking it).?

Notah is a really nice guy. Glad to see him win, and now lets see him do it with Tiger in the field. I know his last two where NTIFW (no tiger in field win). The swing just perplexs me. He has this one swing where he does not finish the backswing. This looks like my knockdown shot, but his seems to go much, much, further than my swing of an equal length.

Thread, anyone have an Arthur Hills course in thier area? I have a couple and they are not among my favorite courses. He just opened a new one in the Detroit area this weekend. A most interesting course as it is built on land owned by the Jesuits. Very beautiful, but the greens were very slow, and when they mature and can be cut low, will be brutal to putt on.

Have a good one all.

TH
