GAS drilling in favor! GLM's Rose talked about this in his interview with Ted David on Friday. Here's an excerpt: Ted: what are they going for gas or oil at those [depths]. >> Both primarily gas. Gulf of Mexico is considered a gas province most activity on jackups in the gulf are slanted towards gas drilling wells.

ATW is another solid company that is a bargain at today's price. The drop from the mid 50s was overdone IMO and ATW's prospects for earnings growth look terrific. I don't see how you can go wrong buying here if you have a long term perspective. Shorter term is more difficult to predict with the way the overall market is gyrating but I still see little to hold ATW back from returning to new highs. I stand by my previous call. Buy the offshore drillers! JMO, Michael
