OT: That is why we need more disclosure from management on ESOP.
Most of Dell's growth was concentraded in 4 years. During that time options accumulated.
One of the reasons why the kid did not get as much this year might be the explosive growth in earnings stopped. But when these earnings pickup, what gifts will ESOP kick in. No body will argue about reasonable grants of options.
But as far as I can figure out, the distribution of profits is 40-60% management-stockholders. And ESOP will keep the lid on this stock price, even if the company grows faster.

OLDTRADER re: MSD might be able to find a little cheaper help.

Maybe, but then I doubt I would have made the same money on Dell stock appreciation over the years. Dell stock has had some pretty tough competition with the dot.coms, bbands, and chips over the last 17 months, not to mention the latest A.G move. My intuition is strap in for a recovery. I will never forget the "Intel is Dead Money" comments after Intel languished for +18 months along with the false starts.

Best,
Mike
