stevedhu, OT

Not wealthy, just good timing. Bought the place early 1983 when interest rates were double digits and everyone thought I was nuts for taking an adjustable mortgage (my rate went down nearly every year thereafter).

You should see the places I couldn't quite afford that were just 20K more, I shoulda squeezed some relatives, ggg!

Sometimes it just pays to be a contrarian.

BTW, OSX seems to be consolidating under old resistance in the 125 area and old highs. When it manages to break out it will move quickly and will make new highs, unless OPEC buckles under. My guess.

Best Regards,

Roebear

<ggg>, I think you still would stevedhu.

I'm sitting in my loft/office staring at the Continental Divide, knowing that I've got to get out of here this summer. I feel the ocean calling...The Oregon coast is quite fine.

Stoked that my 12 year old son did a 9 mile, 3,500' vertical backpack trip with me this weekend (took us nearly 10 hours on the way up due in part to some bad weather). Unfortunately, the fishes didn't want to play with us at our destination. Perhaps that bass pond would make some sense?

Is the marketplace beginning to realize that there aren't enough OPEC productions left to drive crude prices back to their "natural" level of $10/bbl?

Happy 4th to everyone. As a son of two immigrants, I again salute this land of opportunity.

Regards,
