A Nokia/Qualcomm partnership

. . . . could be an international colossus.

Jorma Ollila and Irwin Jacobs are brilliant men. I cannot think of a better symbiotic relationship in the making. I just hope their respective pride does not prevent a meeting of the minds. They could both come out of these crazy and confusing times of transitioning to 3G smelling like roses.

The 3G spectrum auctions in Britian have alerted everybody that "peace" in the industry will prevent everyone from destroying each other.

Asia is not only where people, like Nokia are looking for
technology inovations but believe it or not for FASHION.
One thing people forget about Nokia is that is a Finnish
company but that owes alot of its success to their
Industrial design centre in Los Angeles. It was only after
this group started to design the look of the phones that Nokia took off. Everyone has their design centres in LA
(BMW, Porche, Motorola now) except Ericsson (and you can tell by their phones).

Thei-mode craze and funky personalization of phones in Japan
will be the next big thing. Call it Pokemon meets-Euro Chic
