Tunica, since this event is still in the future, predictions from both sides are just that, predictions. It is not a guarantee that there will be a collapse, even though history has not shown that a soft landing is feasible. The recent numbers (NAPM and wholesale) have shown a slowdown. The employment number this week should be interesting. Oil should come down a bit. The CPI and PPI will be benign with the exception of healthcare and energy, imo. To raise rates as a result of these 2 issues will do more damage than if rates are left alone, imo. We may not get another increase if these trends continue.
