Arun, it would be hopeless if all the 300,000 OmniTRACS truck drivers haven't been offered Globalstar service. I'm sure many would like to have a phone in the cab which will work everywhere, including when terrestrial services are overloaded or out of terrestrial 'home zone' and paying expensive roaming fees.

Same for RV drivers out in Yosemite [which probably has good coverage with terrestrial but that's just to give the remote idea - actually, with the traffic jams, it can't really be called remote] and Montana.

About the cruise ships, [discussed a couple of days ago] and the 200 mile limit, I suppose the 200 mile limit is a temporary glitch as the intention is to cover ocean as far as gateways will reach. Cruise ships will presumably have good coverage around the Carribean but not around the Pacific. The Mediterranean should be well covered too. Coverage, including roaming, is a very slowly developing jig-saw puzzle.
