Hi, rob How was the Peachtree Road Race? This is the first one I've missed since I started running 5 yrs. ago. I had the race number, was seeded in a time group, but sent my number back since the friend I was going with had to cancel. At least I'm guaranteed a number next year. Know it was a great time as usual- so fun to run with the crowd of 55,000. I love the pre-race sights and sounds- runners dressed in every hue and some in 'costume' or colors of the flag. Music over loudspeakers elevating the mood and adrenaline. Helicopters overhead chop-chop-chopping through the air. The racing machines (elite runners) warming up, sprinting down and back on Peachtree Rd. And finally, before the start, a clear strong voice singing our national anthem. Then CHEERS! and they're away!!! cowgirl
