Don't fight the tape

The problem with shorting stocks that are going parabolic is that momentum changes very suddenly. This is even more true in a short squeeze. By the time its clearly going down you cant get an uptick Usually the shares will be impossible to borrow at the top too (not for cnc I'm sure).

I wish my timing was better. I can see cnc has a very good shot at 13- but I doubt its got much more than that. However 5 strong up days in a row is often the top. We'll see.

Eric

CNC,

Let's see 4 up days in a row. You're pushing it bubba. I'd sell when the market opens on Wednesday, if you haven't already. I personally have no position in it yet. Mr. Pink has made some awesome calls in his time and he's right when he says the bottom is 0. Looking at it personally, I'd agree given the papers the co. is in.

You see what I mean with CNC about how quickly the top vanishes? Managed to grab just a little more in at 10 3/4. I'd say its done. One more little pop and then its slow & steady back to 7-8. We'll see after that.

Great call on ORCL short.
