Robert,

>>>> if memory serves me, not many of your signals are negated.<<<<<

If I recall correctly since 1999 there has only been 3 negated signals in the 3 major indices(DOW/SPX/NAZ), and estimate that there were about 35-40 CLASS 1 BUY and SELL signals for that timeframe.

The DOW negated the signal when it ran from 10,100 to 11,000+ around MAY 1999 and the NAZ negated it twice during the runup from OCT.

What is interesting to note is that the signals were negated during the EXTREME SECTOR ROTATION. Now that the SECTOR ROTATION is not as strong, I suspect that this forthcoming sell signal should be tradeable. Keep in mind that last years sector rotation lasted, in some cases, more than a whole month with the DOW and NAZ going in opposite direction. There is still sector rotation, but no where as extreme, and only lasting a few days which is closer to the norm.

If the DOW does not break the UPPER TRENDLINE of the DESCENDING TRIANGLE and no HIGHER HIGHS are produced by the major indices, I will be trading the forthcoming CLASS 1 SELL signal.
