I'm sorry about that...he is ok????

I know what you mean though, I had an envelope today when I was holding JXN and he lurched forward and scratched his cheek right up to about 1/4 inch from his eye. I was simultaneously thanking God that I didnt' hurt his eye and kicking myself in the booty for not paying closer attention.

It is amazing how much it hurts when your kid is in pain. Smthsail is probably quietly chuckling and saying "see, this is what you did to me for 37 years and multiple broken bones and stitches and dislocated joints, no it is your turn".

You hurt more than your child does, which is a parental thing. I often view these occurrences as gifts from God, because they serve as warnings.

The good news is that they live through it

AG -

I'm really sorry to hear that. Hope the little guy is ok.

Keep a close eye on him for any unusual drowsiness, lack of alertness or other unusual behavior change. He may have a nasty headache as well. My daughter had a couple head injuries earlier this year, and they're nothing to mess around with.

And don't feel responsible. Kids fall down and you can't be there to catch them all the time.

And just remember, all those falls and tumbles you took as a child, were not your parents fault.

Give him lots of extra hugs.
