Milo re "Compaq selling Classics till next week"I thought you had said that other vendors were selling Athlon New 1000 Ghz when I thought that they were selling Athlon Classic’s except for Gateway. It is confusing to tell which Athlons OEM’s are selling because there is no differentiation between the two. You have to look at the L2 Cache to see the one it is. So I will just refer to Athlon New and Athlon Classic. I don’t think that even Cybermax is selling Athon New’s 1000Ghz at the moment, Polywell maybe. Apparently there has been a problem with the Slot A mobos and the Athlon New for a while. Remember that the Athlon Slot A was limited to OEM’s because of problems. I, too, am having problems sending, hope this one goes thru. Herb
