No it doesn't. The L2 does not sit on the FSB. The memory interface goes straight to the processor. Have you never heard of a Back Side Bus? Didn't you know the Athlon BSB runs at 1/2 or 1/3 the core speed??? How could it do that if it was sitting on the FSB?
