Elmer you still cannot say for a certainty that timing problems are not a Issue. As 900Mhz and down work fine .

Odds are in favor that the problem does NOT lie within the CPU/L2 as they come from the same FAB 25.

I surmise it's either power related/ component related due to timing issues and/or(possible slew rate, parasitic oscillations, ringing on the bus from impedance mismatches)
