That's what the COMS FAQ's say, and that's the way it was set up and in fact happened with HWP/A.

My broker at Dain Rauscher says this is common in spin offs, and I'll have no problem selling COMSv before 7/27 if I want to and still get PALM on 7/27.

BTW, the COMS FAQ's say that COMSv will start trading this Friday 7/7, not on the 7/11 record date. I guess we'll soon see.

I suggest you E-Mail the following link to the PALM FAQ section dealing with COMSv:

corporate-ir.net

Then ask them if they know anything about selling COMSv on the ex-distribution market between 7/7 and 7/27 while still retaining your right to the PALM distribution on 7/27
