Comment: Maybe...This news, as has been pointed out others on the thread, has been kicking around for a couple of days now...it was certainly out there yesterday when AMD gained $7.00...Far too much weighting, in the minds of some, is attached to this story, imho...The real story remains twofold...the flash memory pricing scare has subsided (i.e. ATML rebounding)and INTC has difficulty producing in meaningful retail quantities, PWeeIII's (tired and almost spent architecture) at 700 MHz and above...It is both these considerations,combined with a wildly oversold AMD, that explain yesterday's $7.00 price increase in the midst of the panicky fud presented to us by some of our pro-Intel guests.
